Georgia Wastewater Systems was formed in 2004 to accomodate the utility needs of the emerging decentralized wastewater industry in Georgia. Georgia Wastewater Systems established the first standards in Georgia for professionally operating and maintaining decentralized wastewater systems through refining the technology and developing a Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QA/QC) Program.

In 2005, Georgia Wastewater was welcomed into the Adenus Utilities Group to capitalize on shared industry knowledge and resources among similar utility companies in other southeastern states. Now, with the Adenus brand powering all Georgia Wastewater systems, the utility is capable of serving its customers better than ever before.
